Color Relations : “ I have a very sensitive connection to colors. For me I feel it deeply and it cannot be random or just ordinary. I put these colors in historical connotations, words, images, and feelings. Midnight has a color to me. Noon has as color to me. Paris has a sequence of colors. Happiness has a sequence of colors. There is a great control of colors as it can be overwhelming to feel so much. It can’t be just any brown, it has to be the mahogany brown from a certain era or the sequoia warmth embedded with the sunset of California. It is simply not viewing colors or mixing them; but a more complex interaction of colors throughout time, places, and thoughts.” -A
